Thirty-seven students of Tirpude Institute Of Management Education College in Nagpur are stranded in Penang, Malaysia due to lockdown. The students, who are pursuing a course on hotel management from Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in Nagpur, have been on an internship program in Malaysia since six months. Out of the 37 students, seven are girls. The students in their letter have mentioned that they went to Malaysia for internship through city’s KK Career Solution Consultancy. Students have said that they are stuck up in Malaysia due to the Coronavirus lockdown and hence cannot return to their respective homes in Nagpur.
The students have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help them come out of this situation by coming back to Nagpur.
