Good evening lads, and my god does it feel good to post this run. The new Elder Dragon quests in the Seliana Supply Cache feature roughly 15% more health and, since they're Tempered, can very easily two shot you. It's worth the Sealed Feystones though.
The optimal strat for Teostra involves counting head movements on topple, and a very specific cue during the clagger in order to execute a perfect headlock combo. As you can see, I didn't get the true lock, but my goal was sub 4 and you can sorta see what the deal is.
When Teostra is staggered from head damage, his head moves five times. With CB, you want to press the AED input just as the fifth head bob finishes, and a little earlier if he isn't in rage mode. This causes the initial hit to clagger, and then the phials count towards the next topple.
On the clagger, you want to watch his mouth, when it opens for the second time and he pants, that's when you pop the AED, and provided you position right, you should smack him straight in the mouth to begin the lock again.
