On the 4th of June 2015, the Wordsworth Trust's Director (Michael McGregor) and Curator (Jeff Cowton) walked to Grisedale Tarn and stood by the parting stone. The stone marks the spot where William and Dorothy Wordsworth parted from their brother, John, in September 1800. This moment marked the last occasion when brothers and sister were together at their Grasmere home.
