Radiation protection one-gang junction box for lead-free radiation protection walls:
The innovative radiation protection box from KAISER protects against medically used radiation, e.g. in X-ray equipment. Due to the high density of the radiation protection compound, soft and hard X-rays are absorbed. The box is particularly suitable for lead-free radiation protection walls (e.g. Knauf Safeboard) and, due to its dose-reducing effect in the tube voltage range between 40 - 150 kV, guarantees a lead equivalent value of the wall of up to 3 mm Pb even when installed opposite it. In addition, the box can easily be used in lead-laminated walls. Here the radiation protection box reaches a lead equivalent value of 1.5 mm Pb with lead-laminated walls on one side.
- Protection against X-rays
- Suitable for lead-free and lead-laminated radiation protection walls
- Lead-free - harmless to health
- Subsequent installation possible
- Fast installation without additional shielding measures
- Opposite installation possible
- Art. no. 9074-01

Radiation protection one-gang junction box for lead-laminated radiation protection walls
The KAISER radiation protection box for use in lead-laminated walls protects against medically used radiation, e.g. in X-ray equipment. The radiation protection material with integrated lead function component absorbs dangerous X-rays with a lead equivalent of 2.5 mm Pb just as efficiently as 2.5 mm lead. The radiation protection of the wall remains completely intact even when installation boxes are installed.
- Protection against X-rays
- For lead-laminated radiation protection walls
- Harmless to health - no skin contact with lead functional component
- Subsequent installation possible
- Fast installation without additional shielding measures
- Art. no. 9074-03
