With only two days remaining before the voter registration exercise comes to a close, the independent electoral and boundaries commission has been urged to extend the period.
Low turn out has characterized the exercise and now leaders from pastoral communities want the voter registration period extended claiming the ravaging drought has left many people seeking water and pasture far from registration centres.
