Some highlights of my go-to outlaw scout loadout in Battlefield 1.
Equipping the Russian 1895 Trench (irl name: Winchester 1895 Carbine) and Peacekeeper (irl name: Colt Single Action Army, M1873, or Peacemaker) definitely gives you that absolute badass feel. Considering these two weapons were probably used by outlaws for hunting and self defense near the end of the 19th century, this is as authentic to a cowboy as you can get in Battlefield 1. Well, aside from maybe equipping the Infantry variant of the Winchester 1895 or using a Schofield No. 3 revolver.
To top it off, it's probably one of the strongest loadouts in Hardcore BF1 out to midrange. Two weapons with oneshot headshot at any range, and oneshot body shot to 70m / 22m for the rifle and revolver respectively, and can both function as pocket shotguns in a pinch due to their decent hipfire accuracy. Highly recommended since scouts are a little overpowered in hardcore.
However, base core gameplay can sometimes tell a different story... Footage coming soon for that.
