This is a wooden cooling rack made from 2 boards. All with only hand tools and some glue.
There is a good bit of sawing/resawing on this project so a tablesaw woiuld have been a dream to use. Still the slats ended up being fairly 'equal' with the use of the thickness planner jig.
I'm pretty pleased with it. It looks rather nice on the counter and it tool only a day in the garage to make. Note that it could have taken less time if I had not had a couple major screw ups. I bet with a table saw with a crosscut sled would have shortened this project to just a couple hours or less.
I do want to suggest Wood by Wright's channel. There are a lot of beautifully made hand tools on his channel that are rather inspiring to seeing. If you like my stuff you'll like his. Check it out here:

The sound on this one is a bit funky in the dialog section so I apologize about that. I am getting a good microphone soon so this shouldn't be an issue again.
