At 3:30 am today a fire burned through a home at the corner of Thoroughbred Crescent and Hullrick Drive in Etobicoke, a neighborhood in Toronto, Canada. Early footage shows TPS police officers running with flashlights and knocking on doors to alert nearby Rexdale residents. An eerie silence could be heard through the otherwise peaceful night until TFS firefighters started to arrive in high numbers. A defensive fire battle ensued during which crews used an aerial ladder to fight off the raging flames twice the height of the two story house. Paramedics stood by in precaution while TPS officers blocked the roadway.
