Why is room redecorating important? 2 reasons 1) I think it is a picture of your personality and 2) it should be comfortable and beautiful so you are happy and inspired when you spend time in your room.

There are many things to think about changing when doing a room makeover:

1) The layout of the furniture - I have a desk for school work, a dresser for makeup and hair, a framed body mirror which my mom painted, and my bed and bedside table with charger. I like to move them every few months to give myself a new perspective on life. Makes me refreshed and happy!
2) The colors - This fall I chose rose gold, plum, orange, white, brown, pink, rust, peach, mainly cause that is what was on sale in Target. ANd those colors are warm and comforting, perfect for Fall.
3) Decorations - like candles and paintings. I paint my own, I frame photos, I buy seasonal candles for nice look and smell.
4) Soft stuff - bedding, throw pillows and blankets, curtains and flooring. You can make a HUGE statement with these. I like these to be comfortable and to coordinate with each other.
love my room as it is now, the white background on the walls & bedding compliment the warm rosey, plum color in the bedding & the creamy rose of the curtains & blanket. Oh, how I love Target, they make super stylish clothing. I have been so comfortable in this room. I love the Fall. So much! How can YOU dress up YOUR room to make it cosy and ready for Fall?
