The United Kingdom, Japan and Italy announced they are teaming up to build a 6th generation fighter jet, the most advance.
Japan, the UK and Italy have the big goal of jointly developing their next-generation fighter by 2024. The goal of the project is to create a basic fighter design that can surpass the capabilities of advanced fifth-generation aircraft, including the US-made F-35. In his keynote address at Japan's DSEI defense event in Tokyo on Wednesday, Ben Wallace highlighted plans to develop a sixth-generation fighter. He stated that this program would combine the best technology from the three countries.
