The PNW is mostly known for its lush green scenery and typical moody/rainy weather. But did you know there's plenty of desert as well?

I've had this spot on my list for quite some time, and I've finally had the chance to go explore it. In Eastern Oregon lies canyons and desert that straight up looks like SW Utah. And here you'll find a special place called Leslie Gulch in the Owyhee area.

I only had one good day of weather, but I'm so glad I did because this place is meant to be seen with warm golden light illuminating the red rocks. Plus this place is not well known, and very "off the beaten path".
