Prolonged monsoon rains lashed Pakistan as the government declares national emergency. National Disaster Management Authority announced Friday that the rain killed over 900 people since June. More than one third of them were children.
Pakistan is all out on the rescue mission with 6,500 Pakistani troops in the search-and-rescue and evacuated over 40,000 people. But the country also called for international support to deal with this "unprecedented" flood.
