This is the third 28 mins program in the 3-Part radio documentary series entitled
“Forgotten Famine Heroes - Uncovering The Full Extent Of Church Famine Relief Efforts During The Great Irish Famine”
The series investigates the full extent of church famine relief efforts during the Great Hunger of the Mid-Nineteenth Century, showing how many clergy (of all the major denominations) worked tirelessly to save lives.
Ultimately this documentary series is dedicated to those clergy (both Catholic and Protestant), known and unknown, who gave so much of their energies, their health and often their lives, to give the greatest good to those who crossed their path during Ireland’s Great Hunger.
