Here's what's up with the lines on Miles' new suit! Miles showed some fresh red stripes down the sides of his new costume in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, giving Hobie and Peter an opportunity tease him, acting like its blood coming down from his arm-pits. But, the real story is much more sad. Uncle Aaron in his Prowler suit showed some pretty similar lines down the sides, meaning Miles intentionally altered his suit to honor his Uncle's death, as a tribute. He wasn't able to save his uncle, so he finds another way to remember him. At least, that's a theory. Ouch! Seems like Peter's jokes probably added to Miles' trauma.
