“Imagine the kind of wealth I am making, especially after my company went public. In fact, all the top management —the amount of money they are earning is insane. So of course they will work 20 -24 hours a day! But the employee? They are on salaries, why will they put in such hectic hours? And if they are going to, I am sure they will face some serious physical and mental health issues. So if you make tons of money —go for it. But for the common man and woman —there needs to be a set time period that they will work in.”
This was Namita Thapar’s view on work life balance. However, Anupam Mittal has a different view point. He thinks that work life balance is a lie that is being told to this generation. He firmly believes that nobody will achieve anything extraordinary, if they keep counting the hours.

About Humans of Bombay –
Humans of Bombay is a movement that started 10 years ago. We believe that every person has a story to tell and we want to help them tell these stories. In these years we’ve published stories across genres – stories of love, hope, faith, and courage. And through our storytelling, we’ve built an engaged community of over 6M!
Our idea is simple – to strike a chord with our community and catalog the beat of humanity, one story at a time.
