We started Day 2, of our narrowboat holiday on the Llangollen Canal, by going up the Grindley Brook Locks; a flight of six locks in total, with three quite closely spaced, and then three in a ladder (i.e. with the front gate of one lock, being the back gate of the next).

I am glad I was only driving, as Zoe & Andy had to work very hard; however, after climbing this flight of locks, things were a lot more relaxing for the rest of the day.
