Sleep apnea secondary to mental health is not an easy claim and it's important that Veterans understand their VA Disability Claims, especially if the Veteran is denied. There are NO medical literature or opinions that support PTSD causes sleep apnea, but that doesn't mean you can't service-connect sleep apnea secondary. It just means you need to understand the correlating factors and really, this is where we see at least as likely as not come into play versus more likely than not.
