WARMEST SO FAR THIS YEAR EXPECTED TODAY
First full day of Spring, and its going to live up to its billing. All week we've been stressing that this would be the best day temperature-wise and we have no doubt in breaking that promise. By afternoon, temperatures will range between 58 to 63 degrees!
Unfortunately, the mild air will not extend into the days to follow as polar air dives out of Canada bringing noticeably colder weather across the area this weekend as well as the days to follow. Temperatures will likely not get out of the 30s for many hometowns this weekend as well as the first couple of days of the brand new week.
The pattern still looks quite dry during this period except for that one disturbance that may carry a round of snow showers late Monday night into Tuesday morning. Little if any accumulation is expected. We'll keep an eye on it.
Afterwards, steady improvement in temperatures later next week. In fact, 40s for the remainder of next week will soar into the 60s later the following weekend! Can't wait!!!
