We love Puglia and continue south to the archeological site of Roca Vecchia where we walk along the coastline of the Adriatic sea. The area is a historic village of ruins situated along the cliffs overlooking the most beautiful clear water. We follow the trail to Grotte della Poesia or Poetry Caves. This is truly one of the most beautiful caves! Further on we explore Torre Sant'Andrea's fantastic rock formations and archways over the beautiful clear sea. The views are absolutely spectacular! Lastly we drive into Torre dell'Orso where we stay at the Belvedere Hotel with a wonderful view of the torre and the sea. Puglia is definitely a wonderful place to visit. We love that it's quiet due to the off season but sure wish we could jump in the sea! We will be back in the warmer season!
