A major mishap stuck a ferry off the coast of Mumbai on Dec 18 after it capsized near the Gateway of India. Following the incident, several teams of the Indian Navy and the Coast Guard carried out the rescue operation. 101 have been rescued and 13 people have died in the incident as per the official data. Rescue visuals showed people wearing life jackets being rescued and shifted to another boat, while the vessel was tilting. The incident occurred after a video from the incident showed a speedboat ramming the ferry. Meanwhile, the operation to rescue the remaining passengers is going on.
