NEWLY released footage shows the August 2021 US military drone strike in Kabul that mistakenly killed 10 civilians, including seven children.
The footage shows the minutes before, during, and after the strike, which took place on August 29 in the final days of the US-led evacuation of Afghanistan, after the Taliban seized control.
The Department of Defense said the strike was intended to target “ISIS-K planners” but a subsequent investigation found it mistakenly killed 10 civilians.
