Ehud was a left-handed Benjamite who lived during the time of the Judges. He was a skilled warrior, and he was also a devout follower of God.

One day, the Israelites were being oppressed by the king of Moab, whose name was Eglon. Eglon was a cruel and oppressive ruler. He had forced the Israelites to pay him tribute, and he had taken control of their land.

The Israelites cried out to God for deliverance, and he raised up Ehud to be their judge and deliverer. Ehud was a man of courage and faith, and he was determined to save his people from the hand of Eglon.

Ehud made a double-edged dagger and hid it under his clothes. He then went to Eglon's palace to deliver the tribute money from the Israelites.

When Ehud came to Eglon's presence, he bowed down before him and said, "I have a secret message for you, Your Majesty."

Eglon dismissed his attendants and told Ehud to come closer. Ehud then reached under his clothes and pulled out the dagger. He plunged the dagger into Eglon's stomach with such force that it went through the other side.

Eglon fell to the ground, dead. Ehud then ran out of the palace and escaped.

With Eglon dead, the Israelites were free from the oppression of the Moabites. Ehud became the sixth judge of Israel, and he led the people faithfully for eighty years.
