I used to avoid grocery shopping with my kids. It made the process longer. They touch, they ask for things they shouldn’t have, they dance and sing lol. Then I realized wait….. this is a good thing. It’s a huge learning opportunity. There is no better learning than hands on life lessons.

3.) encourages them to be helpers (the food does not just appear. As a family we all work together to get it on the table)
