Greasy oily scalp can get troublesome especially if your scalp gets oily in a day or two after hair wash. There is no way to completely change this but we can make it better by doing the following:
✅Use a clarifying shampoo
Clarifying shampoos contain sulphates which effectively clean the scalp. Shampoos usually have conditioning agents and thickeners to prevent drying of hair. But clarifying shampoo are made to reduce oil and product build up on scalp. Hence they are more effective at cleansing the scalp.

➡️These are expensive but as you have to use a very small amount of product, they last longer than regular shampoos. If your scalp is not very greasy, you can use this clarifying shampoo only once a week and use regular shampoo on other days .
✅Use a conditioner only on ends
If you keep short hair , then maybe you can skip a conditioner. If your hair is long then use conditioner only on lower one third .
✅Blow dry your hair
Blow drying makes your hair stay fresh and styled for longer. If you have thick hair which takes longer to air dry then it is more likely to become greasy.
✅Use a dry shampoo on day 2
Dry shampoos basically contain talc which adsorbs oil on the surface and makes hair look less greasy. Whenever you use a dry shampoo, the scalp has to be washed the next day.
