So, you’re a killer basketball player slash total Brainiac, whose popularity is on the rise UNTIL your famous and totally fabulous actress sister decides to come back from Hollywood. Yep – Hollywood! To complicate things even more she’s your identical twin with not-so identical interests…
But, as if this wasn’t bad enough, not one, but both of Maddie’s parents are there to see all the disasters unfold at school in their full glory, as her Dad is the basketball coach and her Mum is the vice-principal!

Who’s Who
Liv Rooney (Dove Cameron, Disney Descendants, Cloud9) returns to Wisconsin after she finishes filming her hit Hollywood show ‘Sing it Loud!’. The famous actress is a fashionista with an amazing singing voice however, her time in showbiz means she needs to adjust back to normal life!
Maddie Rooney (Dove Cameron) may be Liv’s twin but the sister’s interests couldn’t be more opposite! Maddie is super smart and awesome at basketball… Gooooooo Porcupines! But the arrival of her famous sister means her life at Wisconsin High is not going to be the same.
Joey Rooney (Joey Bragg) is Liv and Maddie’s younger brother. He is the family clown and a huge gamer but has trouble when it comes to girls. Good thing he has two big sisters to guide him in his mission to get a girlfriend!
Parker Rooney (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) is the youngest sibling in the Rooney family and what he lacks in physical skill he makes up for with his mind – this kid is a science GENIUS! He is however the most mischievous sibling and is always getting himself and Joey into!
Pete Rooney (Benjamin King) is the father of the Rooney family and also the basketball coach at his twin daughters’ high school, Wisconsin High. Talk about embarrassing dad 😅
Karen Rooney (Kali Rocha) is Liv and Maddie’s mum and the vice-principal (deputy head) at their school. She just like her husband loves embarrassing the kids whilst at school… like being a teenager isn’t hard enough!
Diggie Smalls (Ryan McCartan) is the captain of the boys’ basketball team. He’s Maddie’s on/off boyfriend too.
Josh Willcox (Lucas Adams) is Liv’s co-star in the television show, Voltage, and becomes Maddie’s new boyfriend.
