I remember telling friends of mine that I don’t have to worry about Jonathan. They said I was absolutely crazy for thinking that there was never a possibility that he would betray my trust. I believe they said, “all men cheat and it’s all good until it’s not!” 15 years later, and it’s still good! No female friends, no number exchanges, no wondering eyes, and I’m forever grateful.
Being secure in your relationship is NOT too much to ask. Being able to hear your partners words and without a doubt believe them is NOT too much to ask. Being able to look over your partners shoulders while they are on their phone without their whole demeanor changing is NOT too much to ask! Simply because a piece of a person will still leave you feeling empty, confused and broken and you deserve better than that!
