The morning rush at Melbourne Airport is definitely a favoured time among the Melbourne spotters, with alot of our international traffic arriving during the rush. One of the highlights for the morning rush is by far, the Emirates A380, inbound from Dubai via Singapore, with AirAsia X usually trailing very close behind.
It's always a pleasure to see one of AirAsia's awesome, special liveries. This one in particular looks like an entire new airline, barely resembling their regular livery at all.
For such a dodgy looking morning, I was very lucky to have the sun pop out for long enough to catch both these heavies arrive.
