The only reason I had these is because they came with the bike.
Do not buy SRAM brakes! SRAM Guide brakes have a problem with the plastic plunger in the lever assembly expanding and causing the lever to stick or get stuck. This can cause the brakes to drag and/or lock up. SRAM is known for using a lot of plastic in RockShox suspension components as well. These brakes are the SRAM Guide RS model that came stock on my 2017 YT Capra. I will be upgrading to TRP Quadiem brakes front and rear. I've always had problems with SRAM/Avid brake that came stock on all my bikes. My old Treks came with Avid Elixirs and they would lock up if the bike sat out in the sun for a while. These Guides had similar issues and now this problem with the sticking lever. Upgraded to Shimano, Saint, and TRP with no issues. SRAM also doesn't have an email address on their website to contact them about the issue. SRAM is warranting the defective brakes but save yourself the hassle and don't buy SRAM to begin with.
