A Baptist Health patient is thankful to be alive after a scheduled back surgery led to the discovery of a much larger problem, as KARK reports. When doctors took David Chapman's vitals, they noticed that something was very wrong. He had a heart rate of 160. Baptist Health Cardiologist Dr. Alex Orsini was called in and diagnosed Chapman with atrial fibrillation, or AFib.
