Moumental Architectural 3D Mapping by Aelion Project, Municipio Comunale of Guardiagrele (ITALY), 05/08/2012.
The objective of the project is to promote the area acting on the local cultural heritage patrimony, with the aim of encouraging the active participation of locals and tourists. Through the use of innovative communication systems, on a significantly emotional level, we intend to capture the public's attention and literally shed a new light on buldings and monuments in order to make them more captivating and enjoyable. The technique used for this purpose is the architectural 3D mapping, which consists in the projection of two or three-dimensional videos on architectural structures, playing with shapes and volumes, to create attractive visual effects. Everything is made richer by the support of environmental and atmospheric music, mathematically synchronized to the images, resulting in an overall impressive kinesthetic spectacle.
