Our 'Always on Tour' with Koenig & Bauer took us this time to Sinking Spring in Pennsylvania - and gee - the landscape driving the half hour from our previous filming with Yurchak also in Pennsylvania was simply stunning. Simply fantastic nature, and seeing Amish people (with all respect) is surreal - nevertheless, arriving at Sinking Spring, turning the corner with no expectations of what to see, and suddenly seeing a HUGE printing company - GRAFIKA. We are a bit early, and while waiting in the reception, we can see that friends like Anthony Thirlby have already been there, and then Bernie Elzer III arrives and welcomes us.
Amazing printing company - Heidelberg and Koenig & Bauer side by side, BOBST die-cutters and gluers, Schur logistics being installed, and a printing company with SO many things going their way. Elzer the III knows what he wants and his recent acquisition of the Rapida 106 with all the bells and whistles is a significant proof of his preference for future offset presses - and he is proud. WHAU is - a fantastic printing company. We are SO pleased that we have been there and sure we have friends for life!
