The Galleria di Rosazza is an unlit, single-lane tunnel about 400 metres long, located below the Colle della Colma. The SP513 road that connects Val Cervo with the area around the Santuario di Oropa pilgrimage site passes through it. The road begins in the northeast at the southern exit of the village of Rosazza and branches off to the west from the SP100 road north of a bridge. After a little less than 3 km, you reach the Ozpizio San Giovanni on an easy road. From here on, the road becomes narrower, more winding and less clear. There are some gullies to cross and the road is also badly damaged in some places. The second half of the ascent is characterised by some very, very narrow serpentines. Just before the north-eastern entrance to the tunnel is the Antica Locanda Galleria Rosazza restaurant. The tunnel should be driven through with particular care because the road surface is constantly wet and can therefore be very slippery. The ascent from Rosazza to the tunnel is about 8 km long in total. The descent from the tunnel to the Santuario di Opora is less steep and slightly wider and about 4 km long.
