Months of restoration work before three weeks to install this Oculus (big round window) at Canterbury Cathedral. Filmed here in time lapse. The skill factor with these guys cannot be over stated. Blacksmiths, Stone Masons, glass technicians, planners, scaffolders, designers - a whole bunch of people all pulling in the same direction for one end - to preserve a little bit of English Heritage for another 1000 years.
