Brandon Weil of Fuzzywallz Mastering gives a detailed review of the Audix D6 Microphone and also shows it in action on his set's kick drum. The demonstration includes not only a full drum mix but shows what the mic sounds like on the kick isolated in the mix. He also does this with an AKG D112 and a CAD KBM 412 for comparison.
