The Sarasota Police Department has identified a man it said was acting suspiciously with a baby.
Officers found the baby, who is safe.
On Tuesday, the man entered A&F Pawn Shop on North Washington Boulevard with the baby in a carrier. Lt. Robert Armstrong said the man made comments about pawning the baby, which made the clerk suspicious. The man then left with the child.
