How much do you know about the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji? Check out these 9 amazing facts that you probably don't know!
In celebration of the 400th Parkash Purab (coming into the world) of the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, we thought it would be great to create a video that highlights 9 key facts related to their life. It's not every day we celebrate the 400th anniversary of one of the Sikh Gurus!
Sikhism, better known as Sikhi, was started over 550 years ago by the first Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Their teachings were passed on and built upon by the successive Gurus. Sri Guru Tegh Babadur Sahib Ji took Parkash in 1621, Guru Ki Mehal, Amritsar, North India.
Many of us would have heard about their great sacrifice in 1675, Chandi Chowk, Delhi. But perhaps many of us won't know about the great stories of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji in the 54 years they spent on this earth.
Happy 400th Parkash Purab from the Everythings13 Team!
