In my longer video today I reviewed a verde scuro 1968 Dino 206 GT Sold for $716,206. A lovely, all-aluminum bodied car, this was a top of market sale. About 150 of these were made over two years, Dinos were intended to be entry-level Ferrari-like cars, to more directly compete with Porsche on price. While Ferrari never called them Ferraris, nearly everyone else did. It’s ironic that the little low-cost non-Ferraris now command among the highest prices across all Ferraris. The shape is timeless and sexy. Performance from the 206 was…lacking. The 246 remedied this a couple of years later, and kept the nice curves.
