CIIS' Integral Counseling Psychology graduate program approaches psychology from a perspective of East West fusion, incorporating global philosophies to help students be the change they want to see in the world. This counseling psychology graduate program attracts engaged and inquisitive students who want to cultivate authenticity in their lives and the lives of others. Students who enroll in ICP are looking to establish a career that welcomes the emergence of the whole self and will help others open to their whole selves as well.
The Integral Counseling Psychology program trains students to co-create positive transformation as future clinicians, using therapeutic techniques that help clients heal and flourish. At CIIS, we value different experiences and seek to make the class and therapy room a place where these differences can be accepted, explored and celebrated.
The Integral Counseling Psychology graduate program is experiential, culturally sensitive, and centered on the inner work necessary for becoming a healer. Drawing upon the major spiritual traditions of the East and West, recent cultural and social sciences research, and the innovations made by contemporary psychoanalytic, humanistic, systemic and transpersonal psychologies, we view psychological healing and growth within the larger context of spiritual unfolding.
