Low Light Lensj on RunCam Owl

I got the idea to try it on the Owl after seeing it used on the other board cameras.
In this video I compare the standard Owl lens to the PL0075 low illumination lens to see if it is really better or not.
Then we do some FPV flying at 9:30 pm at night with cloudy conditions and no light source other than ambient light. Later I test it at midnight with moon light. Quite remarkable in my opinion.

So if you need to get your FPV fix and can't do it in the day time this is one way to expand the time window in which you can fly. For me the golf course is often unavailable during the day but at night it's open for RC fun flying. The addition of LED lights to my craft along with the night vision camera opens up a whole new RC experience. The down side of course is that HD aerial photography is not possible in the dark but zooming around is just fine.
