Paw Paw trees grow in the Midwestern United States. They're in the order of Magnolias and are ancient trees. They've been growing around the United States back when the continents were in a completely different arrangement and the climate here was tropical (hence the large tropical-looking leaves).

Paw Paw fruits are absolutely delicious. They're far better than most fruits you can get at the grocery store. They taste like a mix between a mango and banana (but not the stuff in the store, you'd have to go to South America or Asia to taste a banana or mango that compares to a fresh, local Paw Paw fruit).
