The Uherčice Chateau in the Znojmo district was not open to the public under the communist regime and dilapidated for a long time. It was only in the 1990s that the restoration process began here. More than EUR 110 million in EU funding has contributed significantly to the project. Thanks to it, visitors to the chateau could see the new guided tour in the renovated chambers for the first time last year.
