Let’s reach into my archives and take a step back in time to 2004, when I hosted the AVG Reunion at Fantasy of Flight. What an honor it was to pay tribute to these great American hero’s. It was a great day full of celebration and stories . . . and surprises! I took several of the AVG members up for a flight in the TP-40. It was their first time back in the plane since WWII. It’s a day that brought tears to many eyes, and one that I’ll never forget.
