Basic info about grizzly bears:
The grizzly belongs to the species called Brown bear. They inhabit mountain forests, alpine meadows, and prairies of the Northwestern region in North America. Grizzly bears are famously known to be very tanky. They have shaggy, brownish blond fur with lots of fat covering their body. A typical mature male weighs around 700 pounds, and can stand up to 8 feet tall on its hind legs. However, bears in the coastal region of Alaska can grow much larger. They average around 900 pounds, and can stand up to 9 feet tall on their hind legs.
