It's the Queen's jubilee weekend and we thought it fitting to go camping in the royal family's national forest (The New Forest). Now this forest is not actually that new but it is the newest one, have a look on the tinter webs.

This is only a long weekend for us so not staying to long as we are driving down Friday and coming back on Monday. We had some great weather and the campsite was rammed.

Now we stayed in Hollands wood campsite which does not provide or have any electric hookup so we had to rely on good old fashioned batter power. We took the bike as well so we could go for a nice ride in the woods with Tobin and see the forest ponies.

In the end we managed to do far more then we expected with seeing 2 castles, ponies, stately manor, car museum, a creek, boat ride, beach and crammed in seeing an old friend from my school days. It was a jammed packed weekend but oh so fun.

On to the next adventure.
