On January 27th 2018 Midwinter Armizare was held for the second year in a row at Forteza Fitness. I had to work that night and take care of my son in the morning, so I was only able to catch the end of the single-handed sword competition and the very beginning of the longsword competition. There were a lot of great competitors this year. I noticed a lot of honesty and honor as contestants claimed hits on themselves and declined hits for themselves that they didn't think were good. It is really nice to see that it was more about the swordfight than about winning.
