I was born in Tuzla, Bosnia during the Bosnian War in the 1990s, and after many years, I’ve returned to the same neighborhood.
In this video, I visit the city where I was born during the war and reflect on the 1995 Tuzla Massacre that took place when I was just 3 years old. I was close to the tragic scene and remember hearing the heartbreaking screams after the blast. As we explore the Tuzla City Center, we get caught in a sudden rainstorm while making our way to one of Tuzla's most popular attractions, the Pannonian Lakes.
This video is dedicated to all the men, women, children, and their families who tragically lost their lives in the 1995 Tuzla Massacre.
