Shellcracker fishing during the mid-summer months after the first shellcracker spawning rush has diminished... We hit a few beds...some bluegill beds and a few shellcracker beds that was too early to catch fish at a good pace. Finally we found the right bed and got the limit in no time. Monster fish...could hardly lift some over into the boat. Enjoy!
