Captive Ukrainian fighter pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko has been denied a jury trial by the Moscow authorities, who on Monday, transferred her case to the prosecutor’s office. That’s according to her attorney Nikolai Polozov, reports the Interfax-Ukraine news agency. Lawyers have demanded the criminal case against Savchenko be closed over the lack of evidence and investigation flaws.
