Today we fly from RAF Valley in Anglesey, North Wales to the Mach Loop in Snowdonia. I am joined by my wingman 'Flacid'.... yep you read that right and is a story for another video.
We are testing the flight model in less than perfect conditions with crosswinds, wind shears and turdulance all round. Unfortunately this is one of those videos with music playing in the background as me and 'Flacid' are working out comms before we introduce that aspect of video making so I apologise and I will be honest I am not a fan of those types pf video either but it was that or almost complete silence.
The decision to fly to the Mach Loop was quite a simple one, you have RAF Valley, home to the Royal Air Force fast jet training school who fly the BAe Systems Hawk T.Mk2 and Low Flying Area (LFA) 7 situated not too far away in Snowdonia so we thought we could make a round trip in the T-45C being the closest we could get to a Hawk in MSFS as of the making of this video.
Anyways I have waffled on for long enough, If you have read down to here then thank you for your time and as always. Take care and I'll catch you in the next one!
