SATTAL is interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes situated near Bhimtal ,one of the only lake which is unspolied and unpolluted freshwater biomass in India .
SATTAL is known for paradise for migratory birds ,it just 22km from Nainital and 10 km from Bhimtal ,Best season to visit in here is March -June and Sep-to Dec,
There are about 500 species of birds,525 species of Butterflies ,and 20 species of mammals present here ,for bird watching this the best lake .
it is about 1370m above the sea level.
